    Day 1

Transfer from Kampala / Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park, Top of the Falls, Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

Your safari begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at approximately 6:00 AM. After a short briefing from your safari guide, you begin the drive northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest protected area.

The journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, passing through traditional villages, rolling farmland, cattle ranches and beautiful countryside. Along the way your guide will explain Uganda's culture, history and wildlife while making short comfort stops whenever necessary.

After entering the park, your first major highlight is a visit to the Top of Murchison Falls, arguably the most famous viewpoint in Uganda. Here you will witness the incredible force of the River Nile as it squeezes through a narrow rock gorge only seven metres wide before crashing over the escarpment with tremendous power. The thunderous roar, permanent mist and spectacular rainbow make this one of Africa's most impressive waterfalls and one of the best photography locations in Uganda.

Following your visit, continue to your lodge for lunch before heading to Paraa Jetty for the afternoon boat cruise.

The three-hour boat safari is considered one of the highlights of any visit to Murchison Falls National Park. As you cruise upstream toward the base of the falls, the riverbanks come alive with wildlife. Large pods of hippos lounge in the water while enormous Nile crocodiles bask along sandy banks. Herds of elephants and buffalo frequently visit the shoreline to drink, and countless waterbirds—including African fish eagles, kingfishers, bee-eaters, herons, cormorants and storks—provide endless opportunities for birdwatchers and photographers.

As the boat approaches the base of the falls, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. Towering cliffs surround the river while clouds of spray rise high above the gorge, offering spectacular views of the waterfall from below.

After the cruise, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

    Day 2

Early Morning Game Drive – Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Wake up before sunrise for breakfast before setting off on your early morning game drive, the best time of day for wildlife viewing.

The safari explores the famous Buligi Game Tracks, one of Uganda's richest wildlife habitats. The open savannah provides outstanding opportunities to observe large mammals before temperatures rise later in the day.

Keep your camera ready as your experienced guide searches for lions resting after the night's hunt, herds of elephants crossing the plains, buffaloes grazing in large numbers, graceful Rothschild's giraffes browsing acacia trees, Uganda kobs, Jackson's hartebeests, bushbucks, oribis, waterbucks and warthogs. If you're fortunate, you may also spot elusive leopards, hyenas or jackals before they retreat into thicker vegetation. ()

The park is equally rewarding for bird enthusiasts, with species such as secretary birds, Abyssinian ground hornbills, martial eagles, saddle-billed storks and numerous raptors frequently encountered during the drive.

After approximately three to four hours of game viewing, return to the lodge for brunch before checking out and beginning the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.

Arrive in Kampala during the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of an unforgettable short safari to one of Uganda's greatest natural treasures.
