  1. Kampala or Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Day 1

    Kampala or Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Meet your safari guide at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport and begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

    Travel through central and western Uganda, pausing at the Uganda Equator for photographs before continuing through Mbarara and the tea-growing countryside near Fort Portal.

    Arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge overlooking the savannah and relax before dinner.

    Morning Game Drive – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

    After an early breakfast, explore the Kasenyi Plains on a morning game drive, one of Uganda’s finest wildlife-viewing areas.

    Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas and, with luck, leopards across the open savannah.

    After lunch, take the celebrated Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and abundant birdlife gather along the water. Return to the lodge for dinner.

    Day 3

    Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    After breakfast, travel south through the Ishasha Sector, renowned for its tree-climbing lions.

    Enjoy a game drive while searching the fig trees for lions and watching for elephants, buffaloes, topis and Uganda kobs.

    Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon, check in to your lodge and receive a briefing for tomorrow’s gorilla trek.

  4. Gorilla Trekking – Optional Batwa Cultural Experience

    Day 4

    Gorilla Trekking – Optional Batwa Cultural Experience

    After an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a ranger briefing.

    Enter Bwindi Forest with experienced rangers to search for a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take two to seven hours, depending on the gorillas’ location; once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing them feed, play and interact.

    Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. An optional afternoon visit to the Batwa Community offers an insight into the traditional forest culture of Uganda’s indigenous people.

  5. Bwindi – Uganda Equator – Kampala or Entebbe

    Day 5

    Bwindi – Uganda Equator – Kampala or Entebbe

    After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey through the scenic Kigezi Highlands.

    Stop for lunch in Mbarara, then continue to the Uganda Equator for photographs, refreshments and souvenir shopping.

    Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening, where your guide will transfer you to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of the safari.
