  1. Kampala or Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

    Day 1

    Kampala or Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

    Meet your safari guide in Kampala, Entebbe or at Entebbe International Airport before departing for Murchison Falls National Park.

    Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking on foot, then continue north after lunch. Enter Murchison Falls National Park and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces through a narrow seven-metre gorge.

    Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

  2. Morning Game Drive – Victoria Nile Boat Cruise

    Day 2

    Morning Game Drive – Victoria Nile Boat Cruise

    Enjoy an early game drive through the Buligi wildlife tracks. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeests, hyenas, leopards and birdlife.

    After lunch, take the Victoria Nile boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, watching for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner.

  3. Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

    Day 3

    Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

    After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and travel to Kibale Forest National Park. Pass through western Uganda’s scenic countryside, with tea plantations, rolling hills and traditional villages.

    Arrive in the afternoon and relax at your lodge near the forest.

  4. Chimpanzee Trekking – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Day 4

    Chimpanzee Trekking – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing and begin chimpanzee trekking. Spend the permitted hour observing habituated chimpanzees in their natural habitat, with chances to see red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

    After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at your lodge.

    Morning Game Drive – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

    Start early with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbucks and, with luck, leopards.

    In the afternoon, enjoy the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, one of Africa’s finest wildlife boat excursions. Large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many bird species gather along the channel.

    Drive after breakfast through the Ishasha Sector, renowned for rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

    Arrive during the afternoon and relax at your lodge while preparing for gorilla trekking.

  7. Gorilla Trekking – Return to Kampala or Entebbe

    Day 7

    Gorilla Trekking – Return to Kampala or Entebbe

    After an early breakfast, report to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a briefing. Begin gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest; the trek can last two to seven hours, according to the gorillas’ location.

    After one unforgettable hour with a habituated gorilla family, receive your trekking certificate and begin the long drive to Kampala or Entebbe. Evening flights can be served directly at Entebbe International Airport; for more comfort, an extra overnight in Bwindi or Entebbe is recommended.
