Day one: early departure, enter via Kichumbanyobo, reach your lodge by mid-afternoon. Day two: cross the Paraa ferry at first light — daily from 07:00 to 19:00 — for a dawn game drive across Buligi, then the afternoon launch cruise from Paraa jetty. The upstream trip takes roughly two hours and costs foreign non-residents US$30 per person. Many guests disembark at the base of the falls and hike the 45-to-60-minute trail to the top — the Top of the Falls hike is US$15 with a ranger. Day three: a short sunrise drive or leisurely breakfast, then the return south.

Big Five Safaris with Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
