Top of Murchison Falls Hike

The hike allows you to experience the falls from close range while enjoying views of the Nile, rocky gorge and surrounding vegetation. It is a moderately active experience involving uneven terrain, so comfortable footwear is recommended.

Evening Game Drive

The optional evening game drive offers another opportunity to search for wildlife during the cooler hours of the day. It is particularly rewarding for photography because of the warm sunset light.

Morning Game Drives

Two morning wildlife-viewing opportunities are included in this itinerary. These game drives increase your chances of encountering a wider range of mammals and birds while exploring different sections of the park.

Nile Boat Cruise

The afternoon boat cruise travels upstream towards the base of Murchison Falls. It is one of the best activities for viewing hippos, crocodiles, elephants and waterbirds.

Optional Rhino Tracking

Rhino tracking at Ziwa can be added on the final day. The activity is conducted on foot under the guidance of trained rangers and is charged separately.
